By accessing or using our interactive musical typewriter, Web Audio synthesis tools, WAV export functions, or composition sharing features, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms") and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the Service.

1. Description of Service

Typatone is an online audio-visual platform that translates typed text and keystrokes into harmonious musical compositions using in-browser Web Audio synthesis, interactive pitch mapping across 6 distinct sound voice palettes (Natural, Sustain, Beeps, Spooky, Boards, Flutter), dynamic particle visualization, offline audio WAV generation, and link sharing.

2. Eligibility and Use of Service

You must be at least 13 years old to use Typatone. By accessing the Service, you represent and warrant that you meet this age requirement and have the full power and authority to enter into these Terms.

3. User Compositions and Intellectual Property Rights

• Your Original Content: You retain all intellectual property rights in the original text that you compose and type into Typatone.
• Generated Audio & WAV Exports: Any audio compositions and `.wav` audio files that you render and download through Typatone's audio exporter are yours to use for personal, artistic, or creative projects without royalty fees, provided your input text does not infringe third-party rights.
• License for Shared Compositions: When you publish or share a composition by generating a public share link (`/m/:id`) or QR code, you grant Typatone a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to store, transmit, display, and play back the composition solely for the purpose of operating and sharing the musical message with intended recipients.
• Typatone Platform IP: All rights, title, and interest in and to the Typatone software, visualizer graphics, synthesized sound palettes, interface design, logos, trademarks, and code are and will remain the exclusive property of Typatone.

4. Acceptable Use Policy

When using Typatone, you agree that you will not:

• Compose, publish, or share any message that is unlawful, defamatory, libelous, threatening, harassing, abusive, hateful, or promotes violence or illegal acts.
• Infringe upon the copyright, trademark, privacy, publicity, or other proprietary rights of any third party.
• Attempt to interfere with, disrupt, reverse engineer, or overload our servers, databases, or network infrastructure.
• Use automated bots, scrapers, or scripts to flood, harvest, or manipulate the database, message views, or sharing endpoints.
• Transmit any viruses, malware, trojan horses, or malicious code.

We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to remove any shared composition and terminate access for violations of this Acceptable Use Policy without prior notice.

5. Third-Party Advertisements and External Links

Typatone displays advertisements served by third-party advertising networks, including Google AdSense. We are not responsible for the content, privacy policies, or practices of third-party websites or services linked to or advertised on Typatone. Your interactions with advertisers found on or through the Service are solely between you and the advertiser.

6. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED ON AN "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" BASIS, WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING, BUT NOT LIMITED TO, IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. TYPATONE DOES NOT GUARANTEE THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, SECURE, OR FREE FROM VIRUSES OR HARMFUL COMPONENTS.

7. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, IN NO EVENT SHALL TYPATONE, ITS OPERATORS, AFFILIATES, AGENTS, OR LICENSORS BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, PUNITIVE, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR EXEMPLARY DAMAGES, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION DAMAGES FOR LOSS OF PROFITS, GOODWILL, USE, DATA, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO THE USE OF, OR INABILITY TO USE, THIS SERVICE.

Typatone respects the intellectual property rights of others. If you believe that any material on our site infringes upon your copyright, please consult our DMCA Policy for instructions on submitting a formal notice of infringement.

9. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any dispute or claim arising out of or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts in Jharkhand, India.
